A loud part of the Fediverse (majority or not 🤷) is afraid of federation with #threads. I disagree! For many organisations, this is a chance to escape the #networkeffect and improve #GDPR compliance. They can have a data-protection friendly presence in the #fediverse and still have followers who choose to have their accounts on #surveillanceCapitalism platforms. I hope that (a) Instagram accounts get also access to Fediverse content (b) they implement moving servers. 😉
