i think one of my favorite things about palworld is that they removed bug types. if these things were in pokemon, they'd be bug/steel and bug/ground and get instantly annihilated by fire and ice respectively. probably have garbage stats too, because fuck bug kaiju i guess

in palworld? the scorpion's got the highest non-legendary defense stat and high stats overall. the beetle's got the third highest defense stat but higher HP. scorpion's weak to 2 types and super effective against 2 types. beetle's weak to NO types and super effective against 2. they're both absolute fucking behemoths because insects are allowed to have nice things in palworld
