Jesus loves you and came and died for your sins, a gift which you can freely receive so you don't have to live in hopelessness. The Church is guaranteed to have general victory until Christ returns. There are always apparent moments of darkness before an age of great light.

And if the devil was truly winning, his and his minions' propaganda wouldn't have been so fierce as it is now. They're surrounded and they don't know it yet.
