If I bring more of my work to my website and extensions of it, at least then I can keep the content; it doesn't mean I wont have to run again, that seems to just be "how being on a fascist internet works" - but it does mean I don't have to just start over again whenever I do.

And that's honestly, the best I've got. I don't have a better answer, but at least it's an answer; waiting around for the checks to get big enough for tech guys running mastodon servers to sell us all out, is not.
