I've probably invested tens of thousands of hours is building up my presence on someone else's platforms over the past 12 or so years, and I've been quite successful at doing so - only to see all that work wasted, all those connections lost, vanish instantly when some guy decides it's time to sell the whole thing to AI guru nazis and billionaires. I don't want to keep doing this.
