AnarchoNinaWritesFurthermore, what I think this whole Meta scandal illustrates is that the vast majority of the people running large instances out here, are very much doing so because they want to eventually obtain a seat at the table in a tech industry I consider objectively fascist. If they can cash out, they're going to, regardless of who that harms. Which means eventually I WILL have to leave the fedi behind, just like I had to leave Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Blogger, Tumblr, etc behind.
