Patriarchy Will LoseI think about the revolution in Ayiti as a counter-example of unity being "essential" for a revolution. There were many factions, and at times "disunity" was what saved the revolution such as when the formerly enslaved masses fought against some of the Black generals for siding with Napoleon's plan to bring back the status quo of slavery. The revolution would had probably failed without that "infighting", when the hydra fought the dragon.
