GovTrack.usAh. Well then. One of the first things the House will do after its return is send the articles of impeachment (from 2/13!) for Sec. Mayorkas to the the Senate on 4/10. By the end of the next day, the Senate will have sworn in the Senators as jurors and then take a vote on what they’re actually going to do on this obviously very urgent issue. He will not be convicted bc it requires 2/3 vote, but the Senate may hold a trial anyway. Mayorkas has said he will not resign.
