Welp my bench is a horrible mess but the rework is done and I have it triggering well from a 0-1V high-Z input.

I think this is the last bodging to do, other than possibly adding some extra bypass caps to the CDR trigger input.

Will do some flux cleanup and tidying on Saturday when my ESD scrub brushes come in.

Somewhere in this pile are my single pair Ethernet boards including one gigabit one in need of rework, plus the new test fixture and parts to populate it.
