I came across another example of the #DigitalDivide the other day.

I parked in a car park where the only way to pay was with an app.

What a massive faff! It took me about 15 minutes to figure out which app I needed (with the help of a friendly local who explained the system to me), download the app, register my details, and finally make the payment.

It would have taken about 15 seconds just to stick a couple of coins in a machine.

And what are people without smartphones supposed to do?
