Auntie Oedipus 🏳️⚧️🌱🏴The US could solve its housing crisis tomorrow by banning investment properties, but that would also crater the market, alienating the only constituencies politicians/the economy care about: homeowners and investors. When approached from this vantage, they reveal themselves to be two sides of the same coin, a propertied class wielding their assets to the detriment of society writ large.
