Tim Chambers@millions @timothyjchambers Because on Threads they use something they all "smart tags" that are like hashtags but different in that they can be multiple words in one "tag." But when it federates they move the "smart tag" into just to plain text. I have suggested in the future that they turn the "smart tag" into a traditional #Hashtag and remove the spaces in any smart tag.
