Kai’s Power Tools! Now there’s a flashback.

I do appreciate the fun-and-flair UI to an extent, but I’d appreciate more attention to information design, discoverability, and summary. Less making the knob fun to turn, more showing its relationships and affordances. For all the noise on the screen in audio UIs as they exist, there’s a •lot• of information hidden.
