@dan Misskey doesn't implement the Mastodon API. there are forks like Iceshrimp and Sharkey that have attempted it, and in fact we do have partial support for Iceshrimp.

however, Iceshrimp is headed for a big rewrite, and Sharkey hasn't really been stable enough to work with, even before the main dev quit. so we'll likely revisit those two in the future.
