The waste collects for a bit and then WHOOSH... it's off to the recycling centre.  All underground. No bin lorries (garbage trucks), fewer road vehicles, less noise... amazing.  <a href="https://mastodon.world/@davidho">@davidho</a> says that my (considerable) excitement about this is entirely unreasonable.
