At some point in time, a group of people had a meeting in which it was decided that a kitchen #stove with a #touchbased only interface is a good idea. This is one of the worst examples of #design I can think of, and it should be more or less obvious to anyone who's familiar with the work of cooking meals (for more than one) each and every day. I'm pretty certain none of the meeting participants have any experience at all in that department.
I guess there is such a thing as kitchen tech bros.
