I will share a similar story:

Haiti was the first colony where, in 1791, the slaves revolted and established an independent nation.

In 1821 the Greeks revolted against the Ottoman empire.

Haiti sent them a shipment of coffee, in 1822, to be sold so that the profits finance the Greek independence struggle.
