Derek Caelin is writing a book@Zamfr I have a carving set, something like the one pictured below. I sketched the lines using a speed square (to keep things simple, everything is a straight line, and most come together at 90 degree angles). Then I used the broad, flat blade and a small hammer to carve the grooves. I had to cut with a smaller blade the for short, delicate lines in the "leaves".
