I spent all this last week at work fixing bugs in someone else’s code.
And by “code”, I mean low-code scripts created using a user-friendly “clicks-not-code” solution that was designed to cut down on the time required to customize software.
Turns out that even low-code solutions still require a WHOLE LOT of variable checking, edge-case testing, and optimization before we move it into production.
Anyway, this is what I think of whenever someone says that AI will eliminate professional coders.
