    @slang I’m experiencing the same thing. Apparently it depends on the specific instance you are using and /or interacting with.

      One peculiarity of #Mastodon I currently struggling with as a new member is the different policies of different instances, particularly when it comes to viewing profiles from other instances. As a new user, I want to expand my circles, and one way to do so would be to see who follows and is followed by people I know. On some instances this info seems to be inaccessible outside the specific instance. What am I missing?
