- Embed this notice@eris for real though this kind of stuff is why I don't refer to myself as trans, because I don't experience transphobia much, most people just perceive me as an effeminate gay guy rather than nonbinary or trans. There's some overlap between that kind of homophobia and transphobia, but what I experience is most definitely not the experience of most trans people. Some nonbinaries get the full trans experience, but I'm most definitely not one of them, and it'd be wrong for me to pretend I'm getting the same experience just because I fall under the same umbrella.
