I agree that transphobia and white supremacy are pretty connected but I don't agree that the way we fight white supremacy is by listening to a white Welsh woman and a cis dude and I dont agree that white supremacy needs to be prioritized over transphobia when you don't have to choose between attacking both.

The issue that comes up regarding criticisms of transmisogny is that time and time again, these individuals attack trans-run instances as racist without proof to such an extent that it is not a statistical anomaly.

I don't think this is intentional, I don't think WelshPixie and Ro sit there seething about trans women and think about how they can cancel them next.

What I think happens is that, the focus is not on the racists and nazis of fedi because a lot of these are more easily dismissed and you probably don't even see a lot of them because you employ so many mass blocks that that side of fedi just becomes forgettable.

Us on the other hand, whether you like it or not me and TLA and ashten and our circles are not dismissed so easily in such a black and white way because we agree with attacking racism and your issues with us come down to our criticism of you and your behavior, which we as mostly white people are not supposed to criticize we're supposed to be good allies and listen and take you at your word.

But it becomes a dynamic where the casual nature of transmisogny becomes normalized and those who perpetuate it, you and your circle, don't understand it enough because you don't experience it, and you don't similarly be "good allies" to us, you don't listen to us and our needs.

But our needs are, hey stop trying to villanize us stop creating tools where transmisogny is swept under the rug as an oversight, stop trying desperately to make everyone agree that anyone who criticizes you is an evil racist not because of racist actions they took but instead because they simply didn't follow your orders or had issues with your behavior.

This isn't an issue of clashing needs, it's not an issue of trans fedi vs black fedi which yall rightly point out are overlapping groups and not oppositional, this is an issue of the people who take money to make tools and are not willing to accept that those tools normalize transmisogny.

Your "needs" you express are for trans women to never criticize you. That's just... kinda garbage.

I don't think anyone of us on our side of fedi have said you can't criticize us, and we aren't taking money in to create tools to villanize you. There's quite simply an imbalance of power here and what's really happening is you're weaponizing white guilt to be free of criticism. You have people like Ashten who have been responding to every criticism with well thought out responses and trying to be mindful of yalls feelings and making things right only for her to be dismissed as a racist for ONLY the crime of talking to me, even though you won't find any screenshots proving my own racism because you made it up in a reaction to my criticism of you.

If you wanna talk white supremacy go for it, if you wanna attack transphobia awesome. If you really think every trans woman who criticizes you is a white supremacist you're a delusional dipshit, not an activist. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing productive.
