Just to add, I remembered something I saw a few years ago, having a “dating resumé” is, I think, actually a good thing.
I mean, is not dating an agreement between two parties? Isn't marriage a “contract”?
Instead of going through the entire dating process, here's my “dating resumé”. Go through it, ask me questions, and see if my mindset is one you're looking for.
Because if we are looking for a long-term relationship, and marriage for that matter, what matters is our mindset, not our feelings, not if the other person can make you laugh and roll on the floor.
Nothing wrong with going through the traditional dating process. I've been through that, and I enjoyed it, the good feelings and efforts and all. But when you're Forever28, your perspective change.
So, yeah, I think blind dates and friends are the best options. From the first day, you both know you're looking for a long-term relationship with the possibility of marriage. And often, you lay down everything so you can decide if you'll meet again to “see where it goes”.
