CJ Bellwether@oblomov this is true, but at the same time, the uk government has shown they dont need any new laws for them to subvert human rights, they're perfectly happy to do it with the ones that exist and by contravening the european convention of human rights. All laws can be subverted into their opposite by a totalitarian government willing to ignore their own supreme court. That shouldnt mean we should shy away from attempts to pass good laws to protect people.
