Every time I see testimonials for generative AI, it's always for people half-assing their work.

"I got this long report I didn't want to read, so I got chatgpt to summarize it for me" (although, not having read the report, I cannot possibly have any idea whether the summary is accurate)

"I got copilot to write me some code to do X" (but, not having written the function myself and researched the apis it uses, I don't understand what it's actually doing)
