@alanc Well Linux 10.x is probably closer than 2038, and yeah I regularly see version comparison breaking things, might even have wrote 1+ patch to fix configure scripts for zlib 1.3 but for libraries it's at least something you can rollback without rebooting.

And yeah, I remember reading some stories about the 5.10 change, which is probably why linux 10.x doesn't looks great.
