Jon Valdés@TheIneQuation nah, I found some earphones with a rubber-coated cable that are like 5x more resilient than the ones I used back in the day. Been using this model for ~10 years now, and only had one pair fail so far. In fact, that model has survived 2 drops that broke a phone minijack port 😄
