We talk a lot about the risks of burnout and uneven responsibility in invisible work (as we described in our Visibility secondary study in the Dev thriving paper; Hicks, Lee & Ramsey, 2023!), and social and communal affordances can often be invisible work, but NOT always. There is an important other side which is the restorative possibilities of communal affordances in how people create and reinforce each others' role-based belonging.
