    Background to the chicken-honking incident:

    - he did not know that I'm known online as Chicken

    - I'm not aware of him asking anyone else at work to honk the chicken to announce their arrival

    - he did not explain why he made the request

    - he just kinda gestured at the chicken & non-verbally communicated his expectation that I would honk it

    - honking that chicken is delightful every time

    - I'm grateful to the colleague who chose that chicken as the gift that our boss deserved
