Eh, I’d object. There is, but you have bigger chances to stumble upon a good one at random, than digging for something in particular. Girls simply won’t cosplay characters made to be likable by males, and there are only three exceptions, when a cosplayer girl’s mind somewhat aligns with what we’d like to see:
 - she’s a lesbo;
 - she has a mental illness and cosplays a crazy chick (see: tanya, saya) or a yandere (the pink-haired chick from Mirai Nikki comes to mind);
 - her mindset arrived early to the motherly stage (think of a 17 to 20-something years-old heroine who is surrounded by grad-school kids, to whom she’s reading a book).
There may be happy coincidences beside of that, but those are even more rare. Also I may be missing something, additions are welcome (except from gyarufags and goblinfuckers).
