@byte @nano my experience with running pleroma / akkoma and having the instance with the highest amount of users is, that actually akkoma isnt the bottleneck... its postgres and postgres is very well scalable...

Yes i agree, there were times when *oma crashed a bit more, mostly due to memory leaks somewhere, but thats not much of a case nowdays...
