In recent times, the issue of repossessions has come to the forefront of social and economic discussions. As unpaid bills and financial difficulties continue to rise, so does the need for vehicles to be repossessed. However, what many might not realize is the disproportionate impact this process has on minority communities. Not only are these neighborhoods more likely to have unpaid vehicles, but they also face an alarming lack of available repo men willing to risk their lives to collect them. This unfortunate reality highlights a glaring issue in our society: the racism inherent in the repossession industry. Minority neighborhoods are being unfairly ignored, as if their struggles are not already significant enough.
