    Tietoevry are still trying to recover from ransomware over a month in. Some customers who paid for managed backups have no backups, apparently.

    I’m quite confused by their statement they don’t know initial access point - they run Cisco AnyConnect VPN in that data centre and probably want to check their access logs.

      @GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social Two TietoEvry updates that I'm not sure has made Eenglish language news. 1: In an interview in DN, the TietoEvry spokesperson stated that they still have no idea how their systems were breached, but repeatedly insisted that they had sufficient security measures beforehand. 2: It has been discovered that in their public sector contracts they were also responsible for backups. All that data is now gone. Oh, and all of TietoEvry's logs too in that DC, which might explain 1).
