Reading at the time reviews of True Detective Season 1 and I am utterly shocked at how divergent my feelings are about the series from mainstream opinion. Starting to think having to wait a week to see the next installment does things to people's minds because everyone is like "and in the last episode it just turned out to be a TV show."

I think the last two episodes redeemed what was becoming a bloated, terminally boring melodrama actually. Gimme that Se7en shit and get on with it.
