I’ve come to accept that my choices for US president this year are between:

1. A doddering old man who wants to plod along doing the usual flawed democracy thing, or

2. A doddering old man who is a rapist, an abject idiot, and an insurrectionist who wants to burn everything down to stroke his ego one last time before he dies

I think I’ll pick 1.
