RN: i am not a doctor nor a drug expert and **dont condone anyone taking anything dangerous and especially illegal**. but knowing that people will just do them anyway, if you wanna minimize risk while taking drugs here's some of the advice ive learned abt over the years:
- research what youre taking first on erowid, psychonaut wiki or some other non dogshit place
- if youre taking anything else, prescription or recreational drugs check if it has any potentially dangerous interactions with it and **dont mix drugs before you've done this or if it does**
- try to make sure youre actually taking what you want to take
- get stuff checked before you take it, there are places that you can go to or send your to to make sure they arent laced with anything or smth completely different
- not as good as testing but at least dont take drugs from random fucking strangers, id prefer friends who take that stuff too and have bought from the same dealer for a while
- if your drug hits differently hard from person to person do a trip where you take a small dose first to see how sensitive you are
- slowly up the dosage each trip on new dont take monster doses at first
- if youve taken something at a dosage you planned and you dont feel the desire effects **CALL IT QUITS AND JUST TAKE A HIGHER DOSAGE NEXT TIME!!! "hmm maybe i should just do more" IS HOW EVER BAD FUCKING TRIP WHERE YOURE HIGHER THAN YOU WANT TO BE STARTS**
- with new drugs or other ones that require it, have a trip sitter with you
- do the drugs in an environment where you feel safe
- adhere to drug specific safety measures, i think for mdma you need to stay hydrated but not too much? idk YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS IF YOURE TAKING IT SINCE YOU SHOULD DO RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING IT
- DONT USE THIS AS A GUIDE BUT AS A JUMPING OFF POINT THAT MIGHT HAVE ERRORS IN IT, I'M NOT AN EXPERIENCED DRUG USER, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHEN THE LAST TIME WHERE I DID ANYTHING BESIDES MY PERSCRIPTIONS WAS, INCLUDING ALCOHOL
- **DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH**, SEARCH FOR PLACES ONLINE WHERE EXPERIENCED USERS MEET AND PICK OUT THE ACTUAL GOOD ADVICE FROM THEM, MOST DRUGGIES ARE IDIOTS
- maybe go on wikipedia and learn a bit about the chemistry and functionality of what youre taking, it cant hurt
