@CrustyB @KiKi88 @Xenophon @pyrate It sucks because it's the adult version of Santa denial. Nobody wants to be told they're wrong about something they feel is an important part of how they view the world. Even worse, you sound like a crazy person to them when all they see is the sanitized and spun version of reality. I've been telling my conservative buddies some stuff and some of them are starting to see it, but it really takes a while to sink in. Even then, they just develop private vs public opinions.
