The waterfall glowed in the twilight, the moon dancing with the clouds above.
The traders paused, letting their horses drink and giving themselves a chance to rest, wash, or both, as needed.
"Seems magical," sighed one of the younger guards, who then got swatted over the head, "Ow!"
"Don't invoke... such things," hissed the leader of the guards, her muscles tense.
"What, magi--ow! Why?"
