@holyramenempire I agree with much of what you say here, but I'd quibble about the claim that it's worse than the 1990s. First, I couldn't exist as an out nonbinary person with at least some support from loved ones in the 1990s. Second, until the arrival of protease inhibitors, HIV was a death sentence and made you a leper to much of the world. What we're experiencing now sucks, but in part it sucks because the veil of shame was pierced, and I won't trade it. Your experience can differ.
