As capitalism has been regarded as sacrosanct by governments in an ongoing global pandemic that is in fact a mass disabling event, I've in fact probably only strengthened my resolve in resisting eugenics, health supremacy, and ableism -- and speaking out about it all...and I have to say, the absolute attacks I've faced from family and friends in recent weeks has been rough. Years-long relationships have been irreparably destroyed as this position based on care has been seen as an issue by those ranting about "enjoying life" that's "back to normal" and that we apparently shouldn't be masking up. Ugh. So, thanks to all you principled #CovidCautious folks out there who have kept citing science and behaving accordingly as the #COVID19 pandemic continues.
