Catholics are generally not offended by the virgin Mary being depicted, and it's not even uncommon traditionally to depict her breasts because breastfeeding Christ is a normal thing for her to do and she also gave milk to St Bernard, which is also depicted in art. Once you cross into sex acts they just won't believe you that it's supposed to be Mary.
