I listened to my gay uncles talk about "what it was like when I was younger" and it's fucking crushing.

It's why I'm so proud of my brother who is openly bisexual, and unfraid of being loud about it.

I know people on this side of fedi find it annoying, but if you talk to older gay/bi/lesbian people, you realize that a lot of it just standing up and flexing and say "no, you're not pushing us back into hiding anymore."
