The very fact that our more privileged liberals would have us give continued total unconditional support to an institution (the Democratic Party) that delivers regressively less and less return for our votes and funds; and has increasingly allowed its most reactionary and opportunistic Vichy wing more veto power to destroy even putative progressive initiatives, even on occasion openly joining in the Right's assault, is nothing short of myopic lack of vision.
