Fucking hell, Windows Pro users, do you really put up with this on a regular basis?

This "news" spam appeared when I moused over the notification area to find something (looks like it's tied to the weather).

Note that this VM's region is set to France (although its language appears to be US ENG, which I guess is why this is regionalised to US America?).

(Yes, I know you can gpedit your way out of this nonsense, but you probably shouldn't have to, given that you exchanged money for this product.)
