Probably the biggest thing is the ritual of letting things go when they don't need to be in my life any more. I can thank those worn-out socks and release them with gratitude.

There are bunch of little things that make me happy, too. Like getting changed into 'lounge clothes' when I get home, having a huge supply of 'kondo boxes' for organising stuff inside drawers, and folding & storing things vertically.

My things don't have such power over me as they once used to.
