How do so many leftists have galaxy-brained takes on why the U.S. is attacking the Houthis when the simplest and most obvious one is “they are seriously interfering with trade, and therefore capital?”

(And in an election year, too?)

Even if they don’t usually manage to hit a cargo ship, or seriously damage a ship when they hit it, they are making insurance rates go way up, which makes prices for everything go way up.
