gnutelephony@yogthos since I did oppose the assassination of Soleimani by the US, it would be hypocritical for me to celebrate this, but I do fear the west will respond with far less restraint than the Iranians did at the time. I recall how the execution of some violent US contract mercenaries lead to the US wiping out Fallujah, a war crime really only exceeded (and exceeded by far) by the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
