    Some have anticipated that today 'israel', instead of responding to South Africa's legal arguments, will show quite a bit of gore from the attacks of 7 October 2023. As though that would somehow justify its genocidal actions ... ?

    However, as South Africa's legal team pointed out yesterday: the crime of genocide is absolute.

    There is NO possible defence, justification, or mitigating circumstances on which the crime of genocide is allowed. NONE. EVER.
