Talking to some Americans, I realized they need a history and geography lesson about Palestine. This may apply to many people in the EU and UK as well.

1. Apartheid
All of the areas of this map of so-called Israel marked with solid colors are for (mostly white European) Jewish people. Jewish people get Blue Identification cards. The areas marked in grey stripes are ghettos. The indigenous Palestinians have been forced into, Golan, The Occupied West Bank, and Gaza. Palestinians have Green identification cards.
Palestinians may not travel freely and are subject to daily torment and harassment and even murder at the hands of Israeli Defense Forces aka IDF.
Palestinians cannot walk on certain streets or drive on others. Walls with gates and Israeli guard towers lock Palestinians into zones or sectors. Israeli Defense Forces can shoot unarmed children without penalty. Palestinians have no rights.

2. History
Israel did not exist before 1947. It is a made-up country.
The UK controlled Palestine at the end of World War 2. There was rightfully a lot of sympathy for the Jewish people of Europe after the holocaust. The UK allowed large numbers of (mostly white) European Jews to migrate to Palestine and the United Nations passed a resolution saying there should be a Jewish state and and Arab state. In 1948, the European Jews decided they only liked half of that resolution and they took over the whole country. A white religious minority took over the country of Palestine and started calling it Israel.
Over the years Israel attacked neighboring Arab countries and took land from them. They helped more and more (white) Jews to come from Europe and America (but not Ethiopia) and now the population is almost an even split between Palestinians and Jews but most of the land belongs to the Jews

3. Gaza
The Western media purposefully misleads you about Gaza by calling what is happening a war. It is not a war. Gaza is a ghetto controlled by Israel and now after keeping the Palestinians in Gaza locked into a ghetto for decades, Israel wants that beachfront oil-rich land too. They are bombing second class citizens of Israel because they don't want to share the land with brown people of a different religious background.

4. Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing
The goal of Israel in Gaza is to kill or bring about the forced removal of Palestinians to make way for Jewish settlements and oil wells.

Summary:
The country is called Palestine

The religious terrorists running the country call themselves Israel

Gaza is not a country and there is no war. Gaza is a ghetto controlled by Israel. This is extermination and colonization.

The people of Gaza are Palestinians under Israeli rule. They are being slaughtered by the military of their own country.

The Western media gets away with this disinformation because most Americans couldn't find Israel on a map to save their own lives.

They get away with it because Israel chose a biblical name for their terrorist apartheid police state.
