Ok, I am fed up.

There is now the Subscribodile.

The Subscribodile is a cute crocodile that will eat an importable Mastdon account list, make your account follow them and then put the account onto a list of your choice.

You can then "[x] Hide these posts from home" on this list.

In order for this to work, follow the instructions in the readme. Specifically, goto /settings/applications on your Masto instance, and add an application.
